When we arrived at our 2nd school, we were surprised to find that they had breakfast ready for us; really strong coffee, yummy puto bread, suman (sweet rice wrapped in banana leaves), and limes to garnish.

They had lunch prepared for us as well, after the workshops were completed. It included Batangas native foods; Dulong (thin tiny fish with beady eyes and with a consistency that made the dish look like noodles) and Pancit Palabok (rice flour noodles topped with crab sauce, eggs, shrimps, squid, garlic and more.)
